Musical Operations Manager, Basils
About the role
Basils is hiring a Musical Operations Manager to lead execution across all five of our live-music projects, working directly with the founder. You'll own the event calendar, vendor and sponsor relationships, and on-the-ground production, so the founder can focus on fundraising, partnerships and strategy. This is a hands-on role for a builder who wants real ownership of several live projects at once, not just a single event.
About Basils
Basils is a live-music portfolio relaunching out of Yerevan and a subsidiary of Stamina, a B2B sales and revenue growth company. It brings five projects under one umbrella: Robinson, a jazz and blues bar and our long-term flagship; Listening Bar; The Jazz Tribute, an annual jazz festival; Gorgeouz Beats, live events ranging from an orchestra concert to club nights; and a new podcast. Founded in 2024, Basils is now growing from a single events brand into a fully resourced business with its own operating plan.
What you'll do
Event production
- Plan and deliver a full-scale concert with a chamber orchestra, targeted for March 2027: venue, budget, program, sponsors and ticketing, from start to finish.
- Launch and run a recurring club night and house music series (3–4 events a year) featuring local DJs, from lineup booking to logistics.
- Lead on-site production of our annual jazz festival, held around International Jazz Day (April 30): artist coordination, ticketing, the handoff to marketing, and post-event wrap-up.
Venue & location
- Lead the search for a permanent home for Listening Bar: scout locations, assess size, cost and foot traffic, and feed the findings into the business plan and budget.
Partnerships & vendors
- Work directly with Gorgeouz Beats' artist partner on event planning and on the terms of a long-term partnership agreement.
- Build a content calendar and cross-promotion schedule with our podcast co-host that ties the podcast to the other four projects.
- Coordinate with our marketing partner, an agency founder who contributes website, social media, podcast production and event marketing as an investment in Basils, to keep deliverables on schedule.
Operating rhythm
- Own the cross-project calendar and keep every board and pipeline current: deadlines, budgets, sponsor status and ticket sales.
- Run quarterly reviews for each project and flag anything off track before it becomes a problem.
What you'll need
- 3+ years running live events, venues or multi-project operations. A background in hospitality, entertainment or festival production is a strong fit.
- Confidence owning a budget and vendor and sponsor relationships end to end, rather than executing a checklist someone else built.
- Strong organization: you can run five projects on different timelines at once without missing a deadline.
- Based in Yerevan, or able to work from Yerevan.
- Fluent Armenian and English; Russian is a plus.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with venues, sponsors or the local music and DJ scene in Yerevan.
- Experience with ticketing platforms and event marketing.
- A real passion for jazz, live music or hospitality. This role needs enthusiasm you can't fake.
